[V]s Marathon Raya!!

Definition of marathon raya??

Pergi beraya rumah ke rumah non stop for one whole day + and the best part is everyone mesti jalan beraya sekali including the tuan rumah.

It was my idea to have this marathon raya with Vs this year, we have schedule this since puasa and was dooper excited on it!!

So which house that we picked for this marathon?? Kitorang pilih rumah yg tak sempat buat open house this year, so that’s goes to Amy, Copie, Shaq (alia’s bf) & myself..

We started at 12noon at Amy’s house in Damansara Heights but of course janji melayu, the last couple yg sampai rumah Amy adalah Alia & Shaq approx 1.30pm!!
**Menu @ amy’s house adalah NASI KERABU!!! I tak reti nak makan but everyone said its sungguh sedap – home made tau, her mom masak sendirik!!

At 3pm, we moved on to Copie & Dan’s residence at Sg Long – gila jauh seyyy rumah dia, sampai kena lalu 4 tols before we reached to their house baru la sampai….but its worth it la cos their residence cantek banget!! I've always suka red bricks house!!
**Menu @ Copie & Dan’s residence adalah NASI HIMPIT, LEMANG & KEROPOK LEKOR TRENGGANU – pure nyer lekor, cos we arrived pun dah kat 4pm so petang2 gitu mmg gila layan la kopok lekor !!!

budak 2 ekor ni on the way sempat stop the ice-cream man and grab those!!!

As the next house was our house so wan & I left earlier to set-up & masak2 sikit. The others left at 6pm and arrived at ours approx 7pm ..
**our menu adalah KACANG POL, NASI HIMPIT & CHOC CAKE. Wats kacang pol?? This food is actually a breakfast/supper food for orang2 selatan ie Johor & Spore!! Memang sungguh susah nak dapat the kacang itself in KL, so my aunty from Spore ari tu dgn bangganyer telah bought us 20tins of kacang pol specially for us...heheh..so ape lagi, wan pulak suka makan benda tu + its easy to cook, we took 2tins just to tried it out and served it to the Vs that day..ihiks!!

hakim + kenit went straight to our apt lepas habis kursus

At my apt, Dan plak tgh migraine, so dia sempat la took a nap in our 2nd room for half an hour. Then Hakim + Kenit yg baru je habis kursus kahwin pun arrived!! Suka dorang dah lepas derita for one a half day at the kursus tu!! Hahaha.. at the same time everyone pun siap2 tukar baju melayu to casual clothes cos after that kena attend "our acara kemuncak" for MARATHON RAYA --> Bbq at Shaqs!!

From my apt to Shaq’s tak lah jauh sgt, 5 mins jea dah sampai, but disebabkan all of us convoy ramai2 (I think 6 cars), so we have to wait for one and another. Sorang stop kat traffic light, semua stop, sorang tertinggal, yg lain kena tunggu..but we had lotsa fun doing that thou..cos can see that other cars were looking at us..mcm nak gi rombongan kahwin jerr..!! hehe

Arrived je at Shaqs house, the bbq food all ada yg dah masak, so we started to makan. I went to the kitchen and tengok si Alia + Iwin tgh masak something…rupa2nyer makcik tu sempat lari gi Bangsar beli barang2 to do her delicious truffle and its especially for Vs!!! hehehe..So Shaq’s menu adalah BBQ food ie chix, lamb, hotdogs with buns, roti arab, truffle & some tidbits.

Lepas makan jae, my kaki dah mcm nak patah so I decided to rehatkan diri in the living room. At the same time I can hear the others yg dok gelak & chatting out loud kat luar..best gila nyer dorang boraks but kaki ni plak buat hal *sigh*

That’s why u didn’t see much kat sini, cos I was resting inside………

Around 11.30pm, everyone started balik….syahid & I were trying amy’s new toy….sejak she bought that day, tak pernah sentuh & naik pun keta tu, I thought of saving it till my wedding day..so biar la excitement tu terlebih sket kan…hehe

And the marathon raya finally ends at 12midnight!!

even thou we were freaking tired that nite but everyone that committed to it have made all of ths soOOoooo much fun !!

we just cant wait for the next one next year – that time mesti some of us tgh preggy + kiddies all around us.. hehehe..
